The Flurry screensaver should work on Windows 7, I've just confirmed that on a test machine. It's possible your computer's video card is not up to the task, or the correct drivers are not installed. Do you happen to know which video card is in your computer?
To find out, you could install the OpenGL Extensions Viewer. This will also show you the version of OpenGL, a software library for high-performance graphics that Flurry relies on heavily. It will also give links to check for updated drivers.
(The download link you need is halfway on the page, "Download For Windows".)
You could also try downloading this slightly older version of Flurry:
https://www.screensaversplanet.com/files/help/flurry-win32-1.1.1.11.zipIf that one doesn't work either, I suspect there's a compatibility issue between your computer (probably the video card) and the screensaver. It's also possible an anti-virus program is interfering (even though this isn't actually a virus, of course), so if you have one, try disabling it temporarily before running the Flurry screensaver.
Hope that helps. Feel free to post more details and I'll see what I can do.
