Cannot alter starfield settings
I've had your wonderful starfield screensaver on my Windows 10 laptop for months. Today I set up my Windows 11 desktop. I am able to download the screensaver and amend the time from 15 minutes but when I try to click Settings the picture of the screen in the settings box shows the settings page for a couple of seconds then goes black and every option in the Settings box, including closing it, is frozen. I have to use Task Manager to close it. As on my Windows 10 laptop the screensaver is in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Starfield Screensaver'. I have made multiple attempts including disabling Smartscreen and every other feature of Microsoft Defender that I can see. Can anyone advise me, please?

Hello Rachael,
Thanks for posting to the message board.
It looks like an update to the Starfield screensaver was recently published, so I've just now uploaded that new version to the site. Here's a direct link to the file.
Please try to install that and change the settings again, hopefully it'll be resolved!

That's solved it, thank you. This has been my favourite screensaver from when we first saw it in the early days of Windows and being able to customise it makes it even better. Thank you so much for making it available to everyone. Small things like this make everyone's day a little brighter.
