.exe to .scr
I am looking to use the 3D Matrix Corridors Screensaver. However, I am not an administrator of the computer and thus cannot activate it. Is there a way for me to convert the file into the .scr format without administrator permission? Thank you!

Hello JT,
Do you have another computer that you can install the screensaver onto? The .exe file you download from this site is a program that installs the actual .scr file into your Windows folder, so you could simply transfer that .scr file.
During installation, the "3D Matrix Corridors Screensaver.scr" file is placed into the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder (or system32 if you Windows 32-bit). Use the File Explorer to navigate to your hard drive (C:), then to Windows, then SysWOW64, and copy the screensaver file to a USB stick or e-mail it to yourself.
You probably won't be allowed to place the file into the SysWOW64 folder on your other computer, but if you put it on your desktop you should be able to start it.
I'm not legally allowed to extract the file and publish it here, so hopefully these instructions will be sufficient. Note that this is a shareware screensaver and you need to purchase a license code ($9.95) to unlock all features. Since you cannot install it normally, I'm not 100% sure you can unlock it the same way.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
