How to use different video files
I'm curious if we are able to use our own video files? I tried moving .move files to the source folder, but i'm not sure if it's pulling from the file directly. Any suggestions?

Hello Erica,
The video files are not included with the screensaver but downloaded on the fly from Apple's servers. However, the screensaver does then store those videos locally (in a so-called cache) so it doesn't have to keep downloading them, unless you disable that feature via the settings panel ("Cache Aerials as they play").
You can trick the screensaver into showing one of your own videos by replacing one of those cached video files with any other .mov file, under the condition that you use the exact same file name. You can find the folder where these videos are stored under the Cache tab in the settings panel.
I just tried this out by disabling all videos except for one (say, "Great Wall 1"), then clicking the + icon next to it to download a copy. Now if I open up the cache folder (via the "Show in Finder" button under the Cache tab), I'll find a cached video file there with a name similar to something like "comp_DB_D011_C010[etc].mov".
When I replaced that file with a video of my own and started the screensaver, I was shown that video instead of one from Apple. So it's a bit complicated, and future changes to the screensaver may break this, but it's certainly possible now.
Hope that answers your question. Let me know if you need further assistance.
