I have personal pictures rotating on my screen that I would LOVE to find , stop and share.. Where are they?

Since transferring older pictures from an external drive, I cannot find the myriad of them taking turns rotating, on my screen saver. Driving me crazy as I want to STOP< save as , and share. PLEASE e-mail me if you can find them !

  • Thanks for posting to the message board.

Assuming you're using the Photos screensaver that comes pre-installed with Windows 10, by default this draws pictures from your personal Pictures folder. So any pictures you have stored there, or in sub-folders, can appear in the screensaver.

You cannot stop and interact with the screensaver, unfortunately, so if you want to find a particular photograph you will have to dig through the Pictures folder.

It's possible your pictures are pulled from a different folder. To check, open up the Screen Saver Settings panel, make sure "Photos" is selected, then click "Settings".

Two alternative photo slideshow screensavers with more options, including the ability to use a keyboard shortcut to copy the location of the current photo to the clipboard, are JPEG Saver (free) and Endless Slideshow (requires pro version).

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have further questions.
