Installing missing Uniqlock seasons Windows 10

I'm having difficulty installing the missing seasons on Windows 10. The directory is different to the instructions, and eventually I find my way to the ends up with a desk_usw, opening with 7zip shows the inside which directs to "ss". I copied the gadget file to my desktop and edited permissions so I could insert the missing seasons inside, then copied it back. (As the file restricts some permissions) But it still does not show the new seasons when the screensaver opens. If possible, could you release a new version with a working desk_usw or equivalent?

  • Sorry for the delay, I'm struggling to get the Uniqlo screensaver installed right now, because of Flash Player being removed from Windows. It's still working for you, I understand? I'll keep trying and will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • When I installed the Uniqlo screensaver, it automatically prompted me to install Adobe flash player. I believe the version it installed is "Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin, 10.3.181.14". A while ago, I already uninstalled Flash Player.
    The screensaver is still working for me, that is, without the extra content.

  • I did the same, but then I get the message that "Adobe Flash Player is not installed or it is not [a] suitable version. This application requires the latest version of Flash Player Plugin that is not for Internet Explorer".

    That's on Windows 10. I also tried on Windows 7, and there it does seem to be working, and I can find the usw folder. What version of Windows are you using?

    Does the Data folder exist?

    C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\AppData\Local\GIZMO2\Data

  • Hello. I got it working!

    Here is what I did:
    Install Uniqlo screensaver, and allow Flash Player and Gizmo to install.
    Download uniqlo_extra.zip and extract all files.
    Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\UNIQLO SCREENSAVER\
    Copy deck_usw to an outside folder (e.g. to your Desktop. It will not allow edit of of deck_usw directly inside the original folder.)
    Open the copied deck_usw as archive using 7zip.
    Inside the archive, go to C:\...\deck_usw\gadget\ss\
    Copy the extracted uniqlo_extra files into "ss". If prompted, copy and replace the original files.
    Exit to save.
    Delete the original deck_usw in C:\Program Files (x86)\UNIQLO SCREENSAVER\, and copy the new deck_usw file in.
    Restart your computer. This is important!

    I didn't restart last time. I was playing around and even deleted the original media files, and the screensaver still worked as before. Strange.

    I am using Windows 10 Home, Version 1909, OS 18363.1316.
    In C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\, there is no App Data folder. Just the folders for Downloads, Documents, Desktop etc.

  • Great! Glad you got it working.

    The App Data folder does exist but it's probably invisible in the File Explorer. If you open up C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\, click on the empty space in the address bar just above the file list to reveal the current path, e.g. C:\Users\Rob, then manually edit that to add AppData at the end, e.g. C:\Users\Rob\AppData, and press Enter.

    Alternatively, click the View tab at the top of the File Explorer window, then check the box in front of "Hidden items" to show all hidden files and folders.

    You can then drill down to the Local\GIZMO2\Data\deck\usw\gadget\ss folder.

    But if it also works your way, that's great. Enjoy the screensaver!
