It's not possible, I'm afraid. I've just tried configuring the screensaver so that it pulls the text from a URL (by adding the --url parameter followed by a URL to the "textProgram" entry in the settings menu), but when I launch the screensaver I get a message saying "xscreensaver-text: ERROR: --url is not supported yet".
The software is not actively developed, so chances are small this is going to be fixed any time soon, but I'll keep an eye on things for you anyway.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if you have any further questions.
