Hello Chandan,
As explained on the help page linked above, they are not the same. Unfortunately, at some point people have begun referring to the background image on their smartphones as their "screen saver", which is incorrect.
You won't find a setting on your phone that refers to it as such. Both on Android and iOS (iPhone) it is called a "wallpaper". On smartphones, there's no such thing a screensaver, because they would quickly drain the battery.
