Screensaver
Somehow I have a photo filling my screen and would like to eliminate it. Help!I

Does the photo come up after a certain period of inactivity, or is it always in the background of your desktop? In the former case, it's a screensaver and you can remove or disable it using the instructions on the help page you linked above.
However, since that doesn't appear to have helped you get rid of the photo, you may not be referring to a screensaver but rather to the background image on your desktop. This, too, you can change by going to System Preferences, followed by "Desktop & Screen Saver". Making sure the "Desktop" tab is active, you can then change the background to one of the Desktop Pictures included in macOS, or a solid color.
If that doesn't help, please let me know you see and/or what happens when you try the steps above and we'll probably be able to get rid of it together.
