Screensaver won't download because it says Flash is not up to date

I tried to run the My 3D Christmas Tree screensaver .exe, but it says I need version 5 or higher of Flash. I am running the latest version and it still says this. I've tried on IE and Chrome. I restarted my computer too and I'm not sure what else to do. Any ideas?

EDIT: I should say the .exe downloaded just fine, it's just when I run it that I can't get anywhere. And I saw on the screensaver page I should download the ScreensaversPlanet Flash fix, so I did that but the screensaver still won't work.

Hi CJK, thanks for posting. Since you've already tried the fix for Windows 8 and 10, but that didn't work, perhaps you can try downloading and installing a different version of the Flash Player. While Windows 8 and 10 have the Flash Player built into them (and kept up-to-date via Windows Update), Windows 7 does not. You may still be able to load Flash content in web browsers like Chrome because they, too, have Flash built-in, but a Flash-based screensaver requires Flash outside your web browser.
Please go to: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
Select "Windows 7/Vista/XP" under "Step 1", then select "FP 23 for Firefox (NPAPI)" under "Step 2". You don't need the Firefox browser for that, by the way. Importantly, make sure you now uncheck the boxes in front of the "Optional offers" that will likely appear in the middle of the screen, because you don't want to load up your computer with any unnecessary software. Finally, click "Download now".
Open the file and follow the instructions to install the Flash Player. When completed, try running the screensaver again. If it doesn't work, you can try repeating the above steps but selecting "FP 23 for IE (ActiveX)" and installing that version, too. Optionally reboot your computer, and try the screensaver again.

Screensaver installation don't work cause is possiple download only "FP 24" for all Browser Im sad :-(

Hello Marco, perhaps I should have clarified that it doesn't have to be version 23. You can just get the latest version, which seems to be 24 at this time.

the installation continue say "can't find internet connection for download files, please connect and restart installation" but my connection is 24/7 on like my computer i don't know what i can do. Thanks and Merry Christmas :-)

To solve that problem, you will have to apply the special fix we created for these screensavers. You can find a link to it in the screensavers' descriptions, or you can click here to download it directly. Open and run the file, then try installing the screensaver again. That should fix it.
