8-Bit Fireplace
A freeware fireplace screensaver with 8-bit graphics, created by Stefan Riediger and with audio by Thomas Wersche. The fire casts realistic shadows on its surroundings, and the sound of crackling fire plays quitely in the background (and cannot be disabled).

Installation instructions
Microsoft Windows
- Extract the 8-bit-fireplace.scr screensaver file from the ZIP archive you downloaded, preferably to the Windows folder on your hard drive (usually this is C:\Windows), then right-click the screensaver file and select "Install".
- In the Screen Saver Settings panel, you can find this screensaver under the name "Kamin".
