Alÿs: The Thief
This screensaver includes an animation created by Belgian-Mexican artist Francis Alÿs for a 1999 art project in which he investigated parallels between contemporary interface design and "Alberti's Window." We see the silhouette of a man approaching and then jumping out of a window, the artist's response to the computer and the ubiquitous Windows metaphor.
