Ants

Ants leave their colony to find food among obstacles in this screensaver simulation that follows the ants as they go back and forth between food and the colony. The ants' routes are marked by red lines, the colony is brown, food is yellow, and the grey lines are obstacles in the current layout. The menu (visible when the M-key is pressed) allows you to add or kill off ants, switch between layouts and show each ant's food and pheromone detection radars.

Best screen saver ever, this is an epic screen saver. One thing I would add is like to be able to change ant speed and caring capashity so i could have speedy, strong ants, other wise 10/10

This has to be one of the coolest screensavers i've ever seen. I've always had random screensavers at my workstation PC. This is by far the most simple, yet interesting screensavers i've worked with. It's both captivating, and pretty accurate to how ants work.

It has also caught the eyes of many co-workers whom also now believe this is the best.
