This screensaver requires an internet connection to connect to the NASA website, where it downloads the astronomy picture of the day. Every day a different image or photograph of the universe is featured, along with a brief explanation written by a professional astronomer.

Installation instructions
Apple Mac OS X
- Double-click the file you downloaded above to mount it, then double-click on the "A.P.O.D. Screensaver".
- Click "Install" to install the screensaver. Shortly after, the Screen Savers panel will be opened, where you are now able to select and activate the "A.P.O.D. Screensaver".

Screen saver stopped working when I upgraded to Mohave. Please upgrade your software. it's a great screen saver when it works.
