Edge of Chaos
This screensaver is based on Conway's Game of Life, the most famous cellular automaton, which resembles a zero-player game: it does not take any input, but evolves on its own, crafting patterns on your screen. You can optionally customize the colors used, set your desktop to be used as the background, and alter the number of cells.
The developer released the below license to the public to register the Edge of Chaos screensaver, free of charge, from within the screensaver's settings menu.
