ALib1 is an animated screensaver by Canadian artist, animator and programmer James Paterson, featuring surreal animated line drawings of continuously morphing shapes shown against a light grey background. If you cannot find it among your other screensavers after installation, it may be called simply "Screen Saver" rather than "Presstube" or "ALib1".

dang I used this 20 years ago, just remembered it and was hoping I could watch it again. Presstube.com still has a ton of James's animated art but I can't find this piece.
This was a legendary screensaver. Please please please update!
ive used this screensaver for a very long time. this has been my personal favorite. until the Mac update has finally made this incompatible. hoping to see this get updated in the future.

Doesn't work on Catalina
Well, I've been enjoying this SS for about 20 years. It's totally safe, runs terrifically, and best of all in its constant variation it's fascinating. Just today, I suggested he go into business creating more of them.
