Soundstream
Soundstream is an audio visualization (or "sound-responsive") screensaver for Mac OS X. It reacts to sounds coming in to your computer's microphone (built into the webcam of most Apple laptops and desktops), creating colorful streams that move and pulse to the beats, or bloom with ambient noise, that it hears in the music you are playing (and other audio).

I installed it but how can i activate it?
Soundstream has been my one and only screensaver for years. Sadly it stopped working over a year ago. Pls can someone give it an update?
Works on OS 10.12.6 but you can't change any parameter.
doesn't work on Mojave
I have loved this screensavor for over a decade! - but now it will not work with current builds of macOS.
Could someone else make something like it? The developer seems to have abandoned the project sadly…
can't even use
This is amazing! I didn't think I would like it since I don't normally make sounds or expect sounds to be around my computer while it's in a screensaver. But it's surprisingly great even if there is no noise.
Only weird thing is the installer.
