Runs on Win10 Pro - just very awkward installation, and quirky to use.
It is for one monitor only, and will change resolution and shove icons to the other monitors until it closes, resetting any open non-maximized windows locations and sizes (especially explorer).
Its setting menu isn't actually a normal menu - it launches the screensaver fullscreen with a (very antiquated) options panel on the right side. This works fine and lets you see what your changes do in action, but the downside is it has the same issues as above (resolution/window changing/etc)
Getting the .scr itself to run is weird. Gave me "unable to initialize viewport 3" errors. What I had to do was locate the file in SysWOW64 (named Starlight.scr), then move it somewhere else - I personally have an external screenshot folder in my documents, so I put the .scr in there, and it runs just fine without error.
Has an unusually good uninstaller! Lists every file it made and location, and lets you select all to delete. Goes through each stage of the installation to delete files - first locates the data for the program, then locates the temp data from installing, then locates registry keys. Never have I seen an uninstaller so transparent and thorough, I think.
It's a shame it has resolution quirks and no multi monitor support. It's very pretty and robustly made.
Does NOT work on Windows 11. Program is very broken, won't even let you uninstall it. Do NOT download if you have Windows 11.
